Each day, hard-working, well-meaning volunteers and staff invest countless hours of tireless effort trying to make a difference in the lives of young people. Each year billions of dollars are allocated by funding sources to support those efforts. And yet far too often the effort and the money is only marginally effective due to poor outreach efforts.
The outreach strategy is a critical component of everything that we do at R. T. Fisher & Associates. When we create programs for organizations, we make sure that we build in methods to motivate our target audience to participate. When we train trainers, we look for ways to help organizations attract potential trainers to the program. When we are assisting a school in Program Improvement, we have an aggressive parent involvement plan. And when we help plan educational conferences, a key goal is to get the right people to the event.
Our outreach efforts are tailored to both the audience and the client objectives, and are often a bit "outside of the box." While we certainly utilize strategic tools such as well-targeted mailings and electronic communications, we also employ street tactics when appropriate to help clients leverage the power of personal and organizational networks in creative and effective ways.
